During STEM Saturday Class, Tinker 2 class learnt about the different phases of the moon.
Using LittleBits, students created their own hands-on projects to represent the rotating earth with a moon revolving around it.
The moon revolves around the earth in a path known as an orbit. A complete revolution of the moon is equal to 28 days (1 month).
As the moon revolves around the earth, it reflects the sunlight onto the earth. Different shapes are created depending on its position on its orbit.
When you look into the night’s sky, which phase of the moon do you see?
